Galatasaray looking to find agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for Tanguy Ndombele

Turkish giants Galatasaray are looking to find an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur to sign Tanguy Ndombele this summer, according to French outlet L’Equipe.

The Super Lig outfit are hoping to bolster their side further in the ongoing transfer window. To that end, the Istanbul-based club have the North London side’s French national on their radar.

As things stand, Galatasaray have made contact with the Lilywhites to come to a consensus regarding acquiring the services of the 26-year-old. However, it remains to be seen whether that will happen in the coming days.

Tottenham signed Ndombele in the summer of 2019 from Olympique Lyon. However, the midfielder has not been able to make a big enough impact at the North London side over the years.

As a result, the French national has not played a competitive fixture for Spurs for some time now. He joined Les Gones on loan in January 2022 and spent the 2022/23 term at Napoli.

At the Partenopei, while Ndombele was not one of the first names on the team sheet, he often got to feature off the bench. The midfielder ended up making 40 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A giants last season, winning the Scudetto in the process.

Now, the French national is eyeing consistency and regular game time. However, at Tottenham, Ange Postecoglou does not seem to trust the former Lyon star. He has not played any minutes under the Australian manager so far.

Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr have found their feet under the new gaffer. The two have been preferred by the former Celtic head coach in the middle of the park alongside James Maddison.
