Ange Postecoglou discusses how quickly Werner and Dragusin adapted to their new home at Tottenham
Ange Postecoglou talks about the adaptation of his January incoming, per BBC Sport. The Spurs manager shed light on the lives of Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin, during the FA Cup pre-game press conference. He says:
They have adapted well. Both of them fit in with our lads really well. I think it’s a good group of they have walked into that has allowed them to settle quickly. They have been great.”
Timo Werner arrived on loan from RB Leipzig and earned a place in the starting XI immediately. He also registered a brilliant start to the campaign with a decisive assist on his PL debut.
Radu Dragusin does not boast a similar start to life as his colleague. The Romanian is yet to find considerable playing time under his new boss. Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero’s presence will be a major hurdle for the former Genoa man. But, his versatility should provide him with the much-needed opportunity.
The stronger-than-ever Spurs
Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou is like never before. They had a dream start to the PL campaign this term under their new boss. However, a series of injuries played the devil’s part in turning the Londoners’ dream into a nightmare.
The club succumbed to several injuries and recurring suspensions while dropping points consistently. However, the present scenario is quite the opposite. Apart from Son, Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr’s absence due to national duties, Ange has an almost complete squad at his dispersal.
James Maddison’s return is a major boost for the Aussie head coach just like his new signings. The club desperately needed a stopper and a versatile forward, urging them to bring in Dragusin and Werner.
