Ange Postecoglou has shared his thoughts on Radu Dragusin rejecting Bayern Munich and Lucas Bergvall rejecting FC Barcelona for Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham must’ve sold dreams to Radu Dragusin who rejected Bayern Munich and Lucas Bergvall who rejected Barcelona to join the Premier League club. Both of these clubs have a greater and more successful background than the Lilywhites.
However, it seems like the vision that Postecoglou has shown these young stars is even greater. Both 18-year-old Bergvall and 22-year-old Dragusin have a ton of room to grow, it’ll be scary to imagine them wearing the Tottenham white once they realise their full potential.
When asked about this entire situation Postecoglou seemed to be very happy that more and more people are starting to believe in what he’s doing with the Lilywhites. He says there is tangible evidence of what the club can grow to be under his leadership.

“So we’re building a team. From our perspective it’s pleasing and hopefully, we become a club which is a preferred destination for talented young players. I’ve said the other day, there aren’t too many hidden gems around.”
He said all the opportunities given to Destiny Udogie, Pape Matar Sarr and Micky van de Ven is a good indication for the other young players. Postecoglou even went on to say that every club knows where the talent is and there aren’t a lot of hidden gems around.
Fans will now be happy to know that most of that talent which their coach is talking about has already signed deals with Tottenham.
The Lilywhites’ coach believes that the kind of football that any club plays is their biggest selling point.
