Manchester United eye ‘unlikely’ move for Harry Kane

Strikers seem to be the headline story going into the transfer window with almost every big six club eyeing for a new number nine. While some search for renowned names others are looking for raw talents to nurture.

Tottenham have a striker need of their own with the departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich. The England international can swap Germany for England and return to the English Premier League just a year after he was let go by Daniel Levy & Co.

Their striker search led to a face that English fans are familiar in Harry Kane who has scored 213 goals in the Premier League. Harry Kane has scored 33 goals in as many appearances for the German outfit since his move to the Bundesliga.

Manchester United have already brought in Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta for a £72 million fee. They are again eyeing a striker to complement Rasmus while giving him time to develop and nurture his talent.

However, according to TEAMtalk, any move for the 30-year-old to Manchester United and Chelsea is unlikely.

Even any suggestions that Bayern Munich will let Kane leave is tagged as “stupid news” for the upcoming summer transfer window although the possibility of a move in 2025 is an unknown at this stage.

If there were any move to materialize, Daniel Levy would not be pleased at all. The 62-year-old tried all he could to prevent any move to a Premier League side when Harry Kane was on the move. He would have his hands on his head if these rumours were to materialize into a transfer.

A move back to the Premier League would please Harry as he eyes Alan Shearer’s 260-goal record. Being only 47 goals shy of the record, a season and a half at his current level would be enough for Kane to become the Premier League’s highest goal scorer.
