Manor Solomon writes to fans as he continues rehab

Since joining Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, Manor Solomon hasn’t been seen all that often, and his absence at Hotspur Way continues as the Israeli winger undergoes surgery.

Spurs signed the 24-year-old on a free transfer in the summer although we haven’t seen a lot of Solomon owing to the knee injury that has kept him out since October. Manor has reportedly had multiple setbacks on his injury during recovery and today Tottenham announced details about another setback intending that he had a second (minor) meniscus surgery in an attempt to permanently resolve the issue.

Solomon has kept a low status about his rehabilitation and his progress with the injury but posted a brief message for the Tottenham faithful on his Instagram handle which was also published by the club’s official website.

Manor wrote the following in his post aimed at Spurs fans:

“Hi everyone,

Lately I’ve been away from social media and focusing solely on my rehab and getting back on the field. The last period has been the most difficult and frustrating in my career.

In the past 5 months I’ve been working as hard as possible to get back to doing what I love the most, but unfortunately, I haven’t fully recovered yet. At the same time, I’m full of motivation and will continue to do everything in order to be back stronger than ever to help my club & country.

Thank you for your support, see you guys soon.”

It’s always difficult to have an injury coming into your new club, but it gets worse when you’re on the sidelines recovering from injury with setbacks after setbacks and then having to go under the scissors five months later. Solomon is having a difficult time; it must be strenuous.
