Tottenham looking at potential €30m transfer for this Italian midfielder who played in the Euros

Tottenham eye Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi to bolster engine room

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi as the North Londoners continue their cause to bolster the midfield department this summer.

The Lilywhites have changed their transfer policy off-late as they prefer bringing in highly talented young players with massive potential to White Hart Lane. They believe Tottenham boss Ange Postocoglou can shape them as per his playing style in the long term while keeping a keen eye on their developments. This approach helps the club continue to prioritize sustainable growth and development within the squad.

€30 Million bid incoming?

Spurs have identified 24-year-old Italian midfielder Davide Frattesi as a potential target this summer. They are willing to offer around €30 million to land the Italian international’s signature who played in the ongoing Euro 2024 this summer, per Inter Live

Tottenham are in dire need of depth and recognition in the middle of the game, especially considering the potential departure of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Giovani Lo Celso. They have added Archie Gray from Leeds United to the roster, though there is still a need for more depth in the middle of the park at N17, and Frattesi could be the answer to their problems.

Frattesi has enough experience and quality to thrive in the English top tier. His physical attributes and technical ability make him equipped enough to compete effectively against the rigorous demands of the Premier League. It remains to be seen if his current employers are willing to sanction a departure, given his importance at Inter Milan.

If Tottenham can land his services for around €30 million, it would be a bargain deal for the Premier League giants in the long term. Frattesi has the potential to become one of the better midfielders in the upcoming years and could significantly enhance Spurs’ depth at the heart of the pitch and quality under Ange Postecoglou.
