PSG star with uncertain future on Tottenham radar

Tottenham want to sign PSG outcast Randal Kolo Muani in the summer
Tottenham will look to bolster their attacking depth in the upcoming transfer window. The Lilywhites have struggled to get carve out positive results in domestic competitions. It is quite clear to see that the North London club needs to address the issues in the final third of the pitch. Many key players have underperformed this season under Ange Postecoglou, and the club will look to cash in on them quickly.
Last summer’s statement signing Dominic Solanke himself admitted that he found life tough in the first few months at N17. The England international could not perform regularly and struggled to get into the right positions. However, the ex-Bournemouth star has now found his groove at Spurs and has been in sensational form in front of goal in recent weeks.

But other forwards at the club have failed to step up when it has mattered the most for the Lilywhites. January signing Mathys Tel has struggled to make an impact at N17 ever since he arrived from Bayern Munich. The Frenchman is facing an uncertain future at the club as well. Richarlison is another forward that has struggled to stay fit this season. The Brazilian has also fallen down the pecking order under Big Ange.
Tottenham receive update on PSG outcast Randal Kolo Muani
It was reported earlier this month that Tottenham are interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani from PSG in the summer. Daniel Levy believes that he would be the ideal replacement of the outgoing Richarlison and the Frenchman would provide a different dynamic in the attack as well.
Now, the Lilywhites have received an update on the talented striker’s future. Randal Kolo Muani is currently on loan at Juventus, and the Serie A giants want to extend his stay for another season. However, PSG are insisting on a permanent deal as they look to recover the money spent on the 26-year-old. Both clubs are now at a standstill as a deal cannot be struck for the striker.
Spurs now have the chance to hijack the deal and bring the France international to N17 in the summer. Randal Kolo Muani would be a perfect fit for the Lilywhites as well. The striker would provide a different dynamic in the attack and provide much-needed squad depth. The 26-year-old tends to utilise his explosive pace effectively. The PSG loanee also tends to get to the end of chances, rather than getting involved in the build-up.

If Tottenham end up signing Kolo Muani, then Dominic Solanke’s spot in the starting eleven will be in jeopardy. The two strikers would need to battle it out for a spot in the team and that would only benefit the Lilywhites in the long-term. The ex-Frankfurt star is also versatile and can operate from the left flank as well. So, Heung-Min Son’s spot in the team would also be jeopardised if Daniel Levy brings in the prolific forward.
