Selling Jacob Ramsey for £40m will count as pure-profit for the club as the player has come through the ranks at Villa Park. It is also believed that Spurs are willing to wait until the PSR deadline to force Aston Villa to lower the asking price for the prolific attacker.
Signing Jacob Ramsey would prove to be a steal if Tottenham can lower the asking price in the coming weeks. He would instantly provide a different dynamic to the attack and his versatility to play on the left and the right flank would prove to be useful for Thomas Frank.
