Tottenham lining up move for dynamic Bundesliga winger; PSG and Arsenal also keen

Tottenham among host of top European clubs interested in signing RB Salzburg winger Nene Dorgeles
Tottenham Hotspur are planning to add another winger to their ranks this summer.
Mathys Tel was signed permanently from Bayern Munich earlier this month after he did well during a loan spell during the second half of the last season. The Frenchman is not expected to be the only signing in attacking areas of the pitch, especially with Timo Werner sent back to RB Leipzig and Son Heung-min on a steady decline since the last two years.
Son, who is entering the final year of his contract, will turn 34 by next July. So, it is completely fine for the club chiefs to prepare a succession plan and look beyond the experienced South Korean international. Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze could be the player Spurs target to replace Son in the squad.

Beyond Eze, Tottenham are also looking to add a flexible winger. According to an exclusive report from Africafoot, Tottenham are among several clubs interested in signing RB Salzburg starlet Nene Dorgeles. Among others, Paris Saint-Germain, Club Brugge, Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, and Galatasaray are all closely watching his situation after an impressive season in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Nene Dorgeles, who moved to RB Salzburg from Malian outfit Guidars FC in 2021, has entered the transfer market as one of the hugely coveted young attacking talents. This is because of a productive campaign in RB Salzburg colours, netting 13 goals and providing 4 assists in 34 matches in all competitions.
Currently participating at the Club World Cup in America, the 22-year-old opened up on his future. The Malian winger revealed he’s currently focused on competing at the Club World Cup but is not “closing any doors” amid interest from several European clubs.

“I’m coming off an interesting season, and that’s bound to attract interest from other clubs. But for now, I’m staying focused on competing with my club since I’m still under contract. So I’m letting my agents take care of my contract situation, but I’m not closing any doors,” Dorgeles said in an exclusive interview with Africafoot.

Tottenham are starting to build a very strong core of young players at White Hart Lane, and Frank has plenty to be excited about. The acquisition of Dorgeles from Salzburg would further enhance the pool of young talents at the club. The Malian would add raw pace, directness, unpredictability and flair to Frank’s side, whilst improving the depth of the squad.
That said, if Daniel Levy could seal the signing of Dorgeles, it would be a huge statement of intent from Tottenham to beat several top European clubs to a burgeoning African talent.
