Out-of-favour Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has handed Tottenham a big boost in signing him this summer
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has already shown plenty of ambition in the transfer market since Thomas Frank was announced as Ange Postecoglou’s successor earlier this summer.
The North London giants have already made a marquee signing in the shape of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, and the Ghana international has already made an impression in recent pre-season fixtures. However, they forced to accept defeat in their bid to sign Morgan Gibbs-White.
The Gibbs-White saga finally came to an end last week and left a bitter taste in the mouths of the key decision-makers at Hotspur Way, with the playmaker signing a new contract at Nottingham Forest despite being the subject of a £60million bid from Spurs. This has now resulted in the recruitment department having to identify the England international’s alternative targets.

In addition, Spurs are seeking out for potential replacements for their star forward Son Heung-min, who is being chased by Los Angeles FC. As LAFC are ramping up their interest to sign Son, it is imperative the Lilywhites replace him adequately in Thomas Frank’s squad before the new campaign commences in August.
Jack Grealish ready to swap Manchester for Tottenham
Tottenham’s interest in Manchester City outcast Jack Grealish is not new. The England international was an integral part of the Manchester City side in the initial two years and played a massive part in their historic treble during the 2022/23 season. Since then, however, it has gone all downhill for him and the previous campaign saw the winger’s career plummet to its nadir.
Persistent injury problems, coupled with intense competition at the Etihad Stadium, has not allowed Jack Grealish to continue his upward trajectory. Despite his problems, Spurs are seemingly open to offering him a Premier League lifeline.
Now, according to an exclusive report from GIVEMESPORT, Grealish has given indications that he would be prepared to move to north London should Tottenham chiefs accelerate their interest in him. The 29-year-old is firmly on the Lilywhites’ radar and the player is also interested in a swapping Manchester for Spurs if a realistic opportunity comes up.

Out of favour at City under Pep Guardiola, the English attacker has been weighing up the possibility of embarking on a fresh challenge. With the World Cup happening next summer, Grealish can sit and warm the benches at City if he desires to be a part of Thomas Tuchel’s England squad, thereby making it crucial for him to stay fit and start playing regularly.
Spurs could be an ideal destination for the Man City winger
Tottenham have made early enquiries for the Birmingham-born star, whose stock has dropped in the last two years. However, if Frank can help him keep his fitness levels intact and regain his confidence with constant support, Grealish has the talent and experience to shine and deliver the goods for the North Londoners.
A technically gifted and tactically versatile attacker, the ex-Aston Villa skipper can become a highly useful player in Frank’s system. He’d replace Son on the left wing and bring a different dimension to the attack, whilst adding European pedigree and winning mentality to a squad that is hungry to win more trophies after the Europa League success in May.
That said, if Grealish can significantly lower his wage demands, Tottenham signing him becomes a no-brainer.
