Serie A giants eyeing late summer move for resurgent €30m Tottenham star

Juventus want Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison to replace Dusan Vlahovic in Turin

As we head into the final weeks of the 2025 summer transfer window, Juventus are monitoring Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison, with the Bianconeri viewing him as a potential replacement should Dusan Vlahović leave Turin. But from a Spurs perspective, the idea of letting the Brazilian go feels questionable, especially after his electric start to life under Thomas Frank.

Richarlison’s brace in the 3–0 win over Burnley showed exactly why Spurs might be better served holding onto him. Beyond the two goals — one of them a stunning bicycle kick, it was his relentless pressing, hold-up play and ability to stretch the opposition that caught the eye.

Thomas Frank’s system thrives on forwards who are prepared to lead the press from the front, and Richarlison looks tailor-made for that role. After a frustrating, stop-start spell earlier in his Spurs career, the 28-year-old now looks rejuvenated and ready to re-establish himself as a key figure in north London.

Tottenham reluctant given Richarlison’s revival

Richarlison previously struggled to impress at Tottenham Hotspur.

Juventus’ interest is heavily dependent on whether they can move on Vlahović, whose contract situation and salary demands remain a headache for their hierarchy. They’ve already secured Jonathan David and are close to bringing in Randal Kolo Muani, meaning Richarlison is not a priority unless the Serbian departs.

Crucially, Spurs are under no pressure to sell. Richarlison is contracted until 2027, and with his value rebounding thanks to recent performances, Daniel Levy is unlikely to sanction a cut-price exit. According to Juve FC, he is worth €30m, undervalued particularly in today’s market.

The need for attacking depth

Tottenham also have Dominic Solanke and Mathys Tel competing for starts, while the club continues to explore moves for Eberechi Eze and Savinho. But losing Richarlison now would be a needless risk, particularly in a season where squad depth will be tested across domestic and European competitions.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank appears to have cracked the Richarlison puzzle.

Frank has already indicated that Richarlison’s style fits perfectly into his plans, and the player himself will be eager to nail down a regular starting role with the 2026 World Cup on the horizon.

From a Spurs point of view, Juventus’ admiration is flattering but hardly tempting. Richarlison is finally finding form in Lilywhite, and unless an extraordinary offer lands on Daniel Levy’s desk, he looks set to remain central to Frank’s project.

Selling him for €30m, barely half of what Spurs paid Everton in 2022, would make little financial or sporting sense. For now, Tottenham fans can feel reassured: Richarlison is resurgent, and Spurs should be determined to keep it that way.
