Bryan King urges Tottenham Hotspur to sell Manor Solomon this summer
Tottenham Hotspur have had quite a busy summer transfer window so far, but, with only 10 days left in the market, their work is still not complete. As things stand, Spurs are looking to bring in more offensive reinforcements, but have suffered a serious setback in this endeavor lately as they saw Arsenal getting very close to tying one of their top targets, Eberechi Eze.
Now, the North London side is expected to turn their attention to other players who can strengthen the attack of Thomas Frank’s team. Meanwhile, the Danish tactician will also be looking to cut some clutter and ensure the departures of players who are not going to be a part of his plans for this season or beyond.
In this regard, one of the players who has an uncertain future at Tottenham is the forward Manor Solomon. The 26-year-old had quite a good loan spell with Leeds United in the Championship last season, and Spurs are open to allowing him to leave once again this summer, either on loan or with a permanent transfer.
Bryan King urges Spurs to ensure the winger’s departure as soon as possible
The player himself is reportedly looking for another transfer to Leeds, and the former Tottenham scout Bryan King believed that the North London side should arrive at an agreement with the Championship side as soon as possible. Talking to Tottenham News about this possible move, King said:

“I can’t see him (Solomon) being part of Frank’s plans this season.”
“It’s not a good start to be injured and unavailable when a new manager comes in.
“He’s got a lot of players to make his mind up about and wide players aren’t a problem for Spurs. You’ve got Johnson, and as soon as Kulusevski’s fit he’ll be back in the side.
“I think for Solomon’s best interests, and if Leeds are still interested, then I’d get that deal done as quickly as possible.”
While one can argue that Thomas Frank still needs some offensive reinforcements before the end of this summer transfer window, it is still fairly unlikely for Solomon to have any prominent role in the Spurs team.
The Israeli can play on both the wings and also as an attacking midfielder, but still, it seems that the best way forward for him would be to leave Tottenham for another side where he can get a more prominent role, especially as, at 26 years of age, he can still have a notable future in top level football.
Meanwhile, Thomas Frank is expected to rely on the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski, Brennan Johnson, and Mathys Tel, etc. to play on the wings for Tottenham.
