[Images] Tottenham new signings take part in training session at Hotspur Way

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Joe Hart train at the Hotspur Way

Tottenham Hotspur new boys Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Joe Hart were involved in their first training sessions with the club on Wednesday as Jose Mourinho & co. kickstart preparations for the 2020/21 season.

Hojbjerg became our first major signing of the summer, joining from Southampton in a deal worth £15m earlier this month. The midfielder had been Jose Mourinho’s top transfer target this summer and the club were able to get the deal over the line earlier this month.

This was followed by the signing of goalkeeper Joe Hart on a free transfer. The club announced the veteran Englishman’s signing on Tuesday, with the 33-year-old signing a two-year contract after being released by Burnley.

With Michel Vorm having left at the end of the 2019/20 campaign, signing the former Manchester City star was a really smart move by Tottenham, given his experience and proven credentials in England.

And on Wednesday, the club released images of the two new signings taking part in their first training session with their new teammates. Tottenham are penned to kickstart our pre-season with a fixture against Ipswich Town this weekend. This will be followed by two matches against Reading and Birmingham City next week.

And it was pleasing to see both Hojbjerg and Hart hitting the ground running. Below are some pictures of the duo from the Hotspur Way training facility that the club shared on social media.

With two transfers completed in quick succession, it has been a solid start to the transfer window. But there is still plenty of work to be done for us to be able to return to where we belong. Hopefully, the club can get a few more deals over the line before the season begins next month.
