Davinson Sanchez open to leaving Tottenham in January
According to The Athletic (subscription required), Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez would be open to securing an exit from the club in the upcoming January transfer window.
The 24-year-old centre-back joined Tottenham from Dutch outfit AFC Ajax in a then club-record deal worth £42m. Sanchez has had a solid few years at the club without ever really standing out, but the Colombian has struggled for game-time since Jose Mourinho took over.

Indeed, the Portuguese has preferred Toby Alderweireld and Eric Dier at the heart of the defence this season. This has meant Sanchez has mostly been used in the Europa League or the Carabao Cup.
The 24-year-old did not play a single minute of league football from October when he scored an own goal against West Ham United till this past weekend when he started against Wolves.
Given his situation, there have been speculations that Tottenham would be open to letting him leave in January, provided a replacement can be secured. And now, the aforementioned report is claiming that Sanchez himself would be open to leaving the club in the winter transfer window.
A recent report from The Sun had claimed that AC Milan are tracking Sanchez. It, however, remains to be seen if the Serie A leaders do make an attempt to sign him next month.
