Transfer News: Tottenham make Dusan Vlahovic contact as Harry Kane ‘agrees’ terms with Man City
According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport (h/t Express), Tottenham Hotspur began talks with the agent of Fiorentina star, Dusan Vlahovic, on Friday, as uncertainty around the future of Harry Kane continues.
La Viola understandably want to keep the 21-year-old star at Stadio Artemio Franchi. His current contract expires in the summer of 2023 and his club are willing to extend it until 2025.
However, it seems like Spurs are upping their interest in the striker who netted 21 goals in Serie A last season. And it comes at a crucial time with Harry Kane’s move to Manchester City looking more likely every passing day. (h/t Express)
Speaking on the Transfer Window podcast (h/t Express), Ian McGarry has gone on to claim that the 28-year-old Englishman has agreed upon personal terms with Pep Guardiola’s side.
Spurs aboard the Train to Dusan
“Harry Kane obviously remains an ongoing project. But it is our information at the Transfer Window podcast that Kane has effectively agreed personal terms with City and his representatives, and that they are simply waiting on Daniel Levy to agree the fee.”
Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici want to keep Kane at Spurs, and there is little doubt as to why. He is the club’s main man up front and won the Golden Boot and the Playmaker Award last season in the Premier League.
But for Spurs fans, it poses two pictures, both different yet similar to each other in a lot of ways. On one hand, City want to prise away Spurs’ main striker against the Lilywhites’ will.

And on the other hand, Tottenham are seemingly doing the same with Fiorentina’s Serbian striker. It remains to be seen where the two forwards are playing by the end of this window, but not many Spurs would be bothered if they end up remaining at their current clubs.
