Harry Kane hits another milestone as Tottenham Hotspur defeat Fulham

Harry Kane has become synonymous with breaking records this season. The Tottenham Hotspur scored the second goal for his side against Fulham and broke another record.

The 29-year-old moved into the third position in the Premier League all-time top scorers list, one ahead of Andy Cole with 188 goals to his name. This was also Kane’s 43rd goal in Premier League London derbies, equalling Thierry Henry’s record. (h/t Irish Times)

Antonio Conte’s men continued their unbeaten start to this season and moved temporarily up to the second position on the table, one point behind rivals Arsenal.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg opened the scoring for his side after a lovely one-two touch with Richarlison in the opposition box. Kane then struck in the 75th minute to make it 2-0 for Spurs and equal the record.

However, Aleksander Mitrovic scored a stunner in the 83rd minute and almost scored the equaliser minutes later. But his attempt was denied by captain Hugo Lloris who did make a few very important saves throughout the game.

Heung-min Son continued with his duck and came close to scoring quite a few times. Ryan Sessegnon was again on fire while Rodrigo Bentancur returned in the middle of the park after his head injury against Nottingham Forest.

New signing Clement Lenglet started at the back with Cristian Romero who is also back from injury. Richarlison scored late in the injury time thinking he had won all three points for his side, but his goal was ruled out for offside.
