Valencia consider Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele transfer
Tottenham Hotspur star Tanguy Ndombele is attracting interest from Valencia in the ongoing transfer window, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.net.
The La Liga outfit are looking to acquire the services of the French national this summer. To that end, the Mestalla Stadium side are considering making a move for the midfielder in the coming days.
As things stand, the 26-year-old has fallen out of favour at the North London side. It looks like Ange Postecoglou does not trust him, with the former Olympique Lyon star out of the gaffer’s plans.
Valencia are not the only team who have Ndombele on their radar. The midfielder has other suitors in Spain as well, while teams in France and Italy are also keeping tabs on the French national.
At the moment, Ruben Baraja’s team are looking to add experience and stability in the engine room. For now, they have the likes of Hugo Guillamon, Pepelu and Javi Guerra in the middle of the park.
Tottenham signed Ndombele in the summer of 2019 from Lyon. He showcased immense talent and promise at the Ligue 1 outfit. But the midfielder has failed to live up to the mark at the North London side.
In January 2022, the French national rejoined Les Gones on loan. However, after returning to Spurs last summer, he was shipped to Napoli on a temporary move and ended up winning the Serie A title.
At Tottenham, the early season showing of Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr has been encouraging. The former Brighton & Hove Albion star seems to have found his feet under Postecoglou.

Ndombele has failed to make a mark at Spurs over the years. Now, it looks like the best option for both parties would be to find an agreement over a departure. Whether Valencia will be the ones to get the French national remains to be seen.
