Inter Milan want Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele on loan
Tottenham Hotspur star Tanguy Ndombele is attracting interest from Inter Milan in the ongoing transfer window, according to TuttoMercatoWeb via Football Italia (h/t Daily Mail).
As things stand, the French national’s future at the North London side is uncertain. To that end, the Nerazzurri are looking to acquire the services of the midfielder on a loan deal from Spurs.
Genoa were also eyeing the 26-year-old’s signature. However, the Serie A outfit were unable to come to a consensus and a possible move eventually fell through.
At the moment, Simone Inzaghi is not sure whether he can count on Stefano Sensi in the current campaign. Therefore, the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza side want to reinforce their engine room in the final hours before the transfer deadline.
Tottenham signed Ndombele in the summer of 2019 from Olympique Lyon. Unfortunately, the midfielder has been unable to live up to the expectations at the North London side over the years.
In the 2022/23 term, the French national was on loan at Napoli from Tottenham. He was a bit-part player for the Partenopei as they lifted the Scudetto after over three decades.
Ndombele returned to Spurs this summer. But it does not look like the midfielder has been able to convince Ange Postecoglou to make a place for himself in the North London side’s team.
The French national has not featured for Tottenham under the Australian manager. In the middle of the park, the likes of Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr and James Maddison have been trusted by the gaffer.

Therefore, it seems like Ndombele is once again out of favour at the North London side. But will Inter be the ones to take the French national away from Spurs this time around? Only time will tell.
