This venture into the world of hospitality is not entirely new for Spurs. Back in 2016, the club proposed plans for a hotel, alongside other accompanying structures, to stand erected at the southern end of the newly planned stadium. However, at that time, the hotel project saw itself deferred to a later date.
Fast forward to June of this year, and Tottenham Hotspur formally indicated to Haringey Council that they intended to revise the design and height specifications of the hotel. The objective was to present a new application that would better align with their vision for this ambitious undertaking.
Now, the club has taken a significant step forward by submitting comprehensive plans that outline their updated proposal for the hotel. The revised blueprints call for an increase in the building’s height, which translates to the addition of six additional storeys to its peak.
New Experience for Spurs Fans
The decision to raise the hotel’s stature not only alters its physical presence but also results in more spacious residential apartments within the complex. This strategic adjustment also reflects the club’s commitment to providing a premium experience for residents and visitors alike.
While the initial plans featured 49 residential units in the proposed 29-storey structure, the updated proposal prioritizes larger apartments to enhance the overall quality of the accommodation.
