Transfer frenzy for 16-Year-Old! Top clubs target Tottenham’s Mikey Moore

Premier League giants Manchester City and Manchester United have been looking at Tottenham Hotspur prodigy Mikey Moore as they make offers to secure his signatures from under Spurs noses, per Football Insider.

Moore is sixteen at the time of writing, and he is nearing his 17th birthday when he can finally pen down professional terms. Multiple clubs are trying to pursue his signatures, eager to secure his talents for their team.

Alongside the Manchester duo, German giants Borussia Dortmund are also looking at the highly rated Lilywhites academy star. The Champions League finalist in the recently concluded season has submitted a “massive” offer to secure the 16-year-old’s services as they persuade Germany to lure the English talent to Germany.

Can Spurs hold onto Moore?

The North Londoners are aware of the interest that Moore is generating and are trying their best to prevent him from moving clubs. However, Spurs cannot do much on paper, as FA regulations state that a player cannot sign a professional deal until he turns 17.

Mikey Moore is a Tottenham man through and through. He joined the Lilywhites at age eight and has come through the academy at Hotspur Way. Moore has become a regular for Spurs under-18 and under-21 sides at White Hart Lane. He also made a couple of appearances for the senior team, becoming the club’s youngest-ever Premier League player.

Micky has also played for the Three Lines at the under-15, under-16, and under-17 levels.

He is a highly regarded talent, and the North Londoners are looking to build a high-potential young squad that fits like a glove with Moore’s attributes and current situation. Daniel Levy & Co. will want to keep hold of the youngster, ensuring he becomes a cornerstone of the club’s future plans.
