17-year-old Croat prodigy secures his short-term future as Tottenham aid development for upcoming gem

Luka Vuskovic will join Tottenham Hotspur in next summer

The young Croatian central defender Luka Vuskovic has confirmed his loan move to Belgian club Westerlo from his boyhood club Hajduk and the player will join Tottenham Hotspur next summer as he already signed a pre-contract to join Spurs when he turns 18. Westerlo confirmed the loan deal in their X post.

The 17-year-old prodigy is all set to join the Belgian club to develop his game before joining the North London club next summer. Vuskovic is a young defender from Croatia who was highly rated for his performance in the Polish League for Radomiak Radom.

He joined the Polish club in the second half of the last season, and he produced waves in the team with his splendid six-month voyage. He has played 14 games for the club and scored three goals, along with contributing an assist in the last campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur discovered the young talent at an early stage when he was playing with his boyhood club and the North London club sealed the deal last September. As per the deal, the Croatian U21 international will join the Spurs when he turns 18.

After the six-month loan spell, the Croatian has arrived at his boyhood club Hajduk and currently, he has signed a year-long loan deal with Belgian club Westerlo. The player has already had a stellar performance in the Polish league, and the youngster has gained some confidence and form from the spell.

Before joining Spurs, it is better for the young player to have experience playing in any other top European Leagues and Vuskovic can use the Belgian league as a perfect stage to prepare for his Premier League entry. Westerlos can provide him with more playing time, and first-team experiences, which will help the player develop his game in the league.

The player needs to establish himself as a world-class defender at the North London club for more playing time next summer, so the player could use the loan spell as a wonderful chance to enhance his abilities before joining Spurs.
