Tottenham not “actively looking” to sell Richarlison
According to a report from Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur are not looking to sell their forward Richarlison, at least not “actively”.
The Brazil international has blown hot and cold ever since arriving at the north London club from Everton two seasons ago.
Last season, after opening up about his mental health struggles, the 27-year-old was supported and eased back into the first team by Ange Postecoglou, who was aptly rewarded in return by the striker with a double-digit goals tally in the Premier League.

Richarlison, once described by Brazil’s Worker’s party politician Paulo Pimenta as “a model citizen”, was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia earlier this year, though Spurs remain uninterested in low-ball offers and would only consider an offer at least in the region of £60 million, which is what they paid for him two years ago.
Richarlison’s current contract at Spurs, fetching him £90k per week in salary, is set to run until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Richarlison should be given another season under Postecoglou
While Spurs should consider signing a forward this summer, they shouldn’t necessarily give up on Richarlison just yet.
The player openly discussed the issues that plagued him last season, was treated by Postecoglou with care, and was able to thrive on the back of it.
While he’s no Harry Kane, Richarlison does fit the profile of the forward Postecoglou wants and can play both centrally and out wide; he is a handy tool to have in the dressing room.

Of course, if a silly offer were to arrive, circumstances would change, but for the time being Richarlison is not some bad apple Spurs need to do away with, but rather a promising asset who, if handled with care, has the potential to come good.
