Tottenham faces battle against Bournemouth for the signing of Feyenoord striker Zepiqueno Redmond
Tottenham Hotspur are set to be very active in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Ange Postecoglou’s future as Spurs boss is still up in the air, and the likelihood is that he will be sacked regardless of whatever happens in the Europa League. With or without the Australian, the Lilywhites will need reinforcements in multiple areas of their pitch before the start of the 2025/26 campaign.
Daniel Levy should be expected to stick to his recent policy of investing in young and hungry talent with high potential. Addressing a lack of consistent source of goals has to be one of the top priorities this summer. The club cannot afford to carry underperforming players into another season and should instead focus on a significant rebuild.

According to an exclusive report from Football Insider, Feyenoord striker Zepiqueno Redmond has emerged as a target for Tottenham. Bournemouth are also interested, but Spurs are ‘well-placed’ to bring in the teenager striker to North London this summer.
Zepiqueno Redmond joined the Feyenoord youth academy in 2019. The striker made his senior debut back in November 2024, starting in the 4-1 Eredivisie win over Almere City. He has made four league appearances whilst being involved in a couple of Champions League games this season.
The Netherlands Under-19 international, however, is out of contract at Feyenoord at the end of the season. Redmond’s potential availability on a free transfer has piqued the interest of several European clubs, resulting in competition for Tottenham to secure his signature. The aforementioned report adds that several Bundesliga clubs are also monitoring the teenager’s situation at the Feyenoord Stadium ahead of the summer transfer window.

Tottenham are among several clubs preparing to swoop in once Redmond becomes available on a free transfer. For a 19-year-old versatile forward already exposed to first-team football at such a high level, the Rotterdam-born prodigy represents a rare opportunity. There are no deceptions that he is attracting interest from Europe due to his vast potential rather than a proven track record at the senior level, which is something Spurs are planning to tap into.
Redmond’s refusal to sign with Feyenoord suggests he’s prioritising a path to consistent first-team action, a factor that may shape his next destination. Any club willing to offer a clear development plan and regular minutes could find themselves landing a future star.

With competition for the Dutchman plenty, the Lilywhites will have to act quickly if they want to sign the young talent on a free transfer from the Eredivisie side. Spurs’ proven record of promoting and integrating young players into the first team, especially in the last two seasons under Postecoglou, may give them an advantage in convincing Redmond and his camp of our development plan.
