Tottenham Hotspur faces a massive summer ahead and needs to get all the decisions right if they want to perform a lot better in the Premier League next season.

Having replaced Ange Postecoglou with Thomas Frank at the helm, Daniel Levy has to now think about the incomings and outgoings during the summer transfer window. The club has already confirmed the permanent signings of Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel from RC Lens and Bayern Munich, respectively.

Spurs had several players out on loan, and some of them performed extremely well in different leagues. One of them is Manor Solomon, who was farmed out on loan to Leeds United in the Championship last summer.

After a dismal time with Spurs, Manor Solomon managed to rejuvenate his career at Leeds United. The tricky winger etched his name in the history books by scoring the winner against Plymouth Argyle that helped the Whites clinch the Championship title in May. He registered 10 goals and 12 assists in the Championship during the 2024/25 season, and after Leeds United have secured promotion, they are keen to sign him permanently from Tottenham.

However, securing Solomon’s signature won’t be straightforward for the Peacocks. According to former scout Mick Brown, fellow promoted club Burnley have joined the race for the signing of Solomon. They are keeping tabs on the Israeli international’s situation at Tottenham.

“Burnley are now interested in signing Solomon,” Mick Brown exclusively told Tottenham News.

“A few of their better players have been linked with moves away, which is a concern, but they want to strengthen the squad as well. Scott Parker is looking at attacking reinforcements and he is on their list.

“Of course, the interest from Leeds is there because he had a very successful loan spell with them. Those two aren’t going to be the only interested clubs because of how impressive he was.

“It doesn’t look like he’ll be a regular for Tottenham, so they can provide the opportunity to play regularly in the Premier League which might tempt him to move. From Spurs’ point of view, it will depend on which club makes the best offer.”

Thomas Frank wants to keep Manor Solomon and give him chances in the pre season

Solomon’s strong loan spell at Elland Road has garnered a lot of attention, with Burnley being the latest club to show interest. Tottenham find themselves in a good position when it comes to Solomon; the more the interest in the player, the better the chances of a potential bidding war erupting.

When the Israeli attacker’s career at Spurs looked doomed, Thomas Frank’s arrival at the club has changed the situation. This is because Frank is ready to offer the 25-year-old a new lease of life at White Hart Lane. The Danish tactician wants to give Solomon opportunities to impress in the pre-season tour and is counting on him for next season’s plans.

It will all depend on how Solomon performs in the Spurs pre-season tour starting from July before a decision on his future is taken. Nonetheless, Burnley entering the mix for the wide-man’s services is good news for the North Londoners.
