Bayern Munich will snub any moves for Harry Kane as Tottenham look to re-sign the striker

Tottenham fans experienced a ‘fairytale’ ending to the season as the North London club lifted its first major trophy in 17 years by beating Manchester United in the Europa League final. The historic achievement also ensured that European silverware was heading back to N17 after 41 years.

But another spectacle that was celebrated by the Spurs fans was Harry Kane lifting the first major trophy of his career with Bayern Munich. The England international went through a lot of ups and downs during his time at N17, and he had to eventually leave the club in search of silverware. That finally happened after Bayern won the Bundesliga under Vincent Kompany.

Kane endured a lot of heartaches and near misses during his Spurs career. From coming third in a two-horse race for the Premier League title, to losing the Champions League final against Liverpool in 2019… the 31-year-old experienced it all. So, it is fair to say that the England international deserved to get his hands on a major trophy before he retired.

Harry Kane unlikely to return to Tottenham anytime soon

Tottenham fans are dreaming of Harry Kane’s return ever since the legendary striker left N17 for pastures new in 2023. The club’s record goal-scorer made a lasting impact at Hotspur Way during his time at Spurs, and he will forever be remembered as a club legend for his contributions. A return to the Premier League would not only break the internet, but it will also fill the Spurs fans with newfound belief that they could eventually win the Premier League.

It was reported earlier that Tottenham are willing to re-sign Harry Kane in the future as they look to give the striker a proper farewell. However, Chris Waddle has played down the links and believes the 31-year-old will stay in Germany for the time being. Speaking to OLBG.com, Waddle said,

“I don’t think we will see Harry Kane getting sold by Bayern next season. I think they’ll be happy to keep Harry Kane for the next three or four seasons. I think it’ll be down to Harry Kane if he wants to go back to Spurs or back to England or does he want to finish his time abroad?”

The ex-Spurs player added,

“It would be great for Harry Kane and Spurs if he came back and got the record, but he won’t have that in his mind at the moment. He will be thinking about starting the season strong and extending his contract.”

Chris Waddle has suggested that Bayern Munich will not end up selling Harry Kane next summer. The ex-player added that the Bundesliga giants are happy to keep Kane, and will only sanction a move if the England international decides to call quits. Waddle then suggests that Spurs signing the legendary striker would be great news as he could break numerous records in the Premier League.

Signing Kane in the near future would solve a lot problems for the Lilywhites. The North London club has still not managed to completely replace the 31-year-old, and the only way to fill the void left behind by England international is by re-signing him. The Bayern Munich star would also have the chance of saying his farewells properly, and he could also make a mark at N17 by hopefully leading the club to yet another silverware.
