AC Milan have expressed an interest in signing Tottenham left-back Destiny Udogie
Tottenham Hotspur fans are growing tired of the speculation surrounding the future of Cristian Romero.
The Argentinean international is held in high regard for both his performances and passion over the years. In recent months, Atletico Madrid have shown concrete interest in signing Romero from Spurs. The centre-back added fuel to the speculation by expressing his desire to play in Spain.
This has left the Tottenham fans frustrated, and their mood will certainly not be helped by the latest update on another key Spurs defender.

Destiny Udogie is open to joining European giant
According to TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey, Tottenham left-back Destiny Udogie is open to joining AC Milan this summer. The Lilywhites ideally do not want to sell him, but the chance to return back to Italy and play at the iconic San Siro is enticing the defender.
Udogie has been among the consistent performers for Tottenham in the last couple of years. He has had a fair few struggles with injuries, but when fully fit, the Italian was one of the first names on former boss Ange Postecoglou’s teamsheet. The Verona-born talent’s ability to play as an inverted full-back made him so important in the Australian’s system, with him delivering a noteworthy performance in Tottenham’s Europa League final win over Manchester United in May.
It was recently reported that both AC Milan and Real Madrid were keeping tabs on Udogie. Milan, in particular, have identified the Spurs star as a replacement for Theo Hernandez, who is set to seal a switch to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

Tottenham could look at Fulham skipper to potentially replace Udogie
Thomas Frank would be keen to keep Udogie and work with him at White Hart Lane. Having earned a reputation of developing players, the Dane would back himself to unlock the Spurs left-back’s true potential. But if he pushes to leave for Milan, Daniel Levy and Co. have to replace Udogie.
As per recent reports, Tottenham have been showing an interest in Fulham skipper Antonee Robinson. One of the best modern-day full-backs in Europe, it is easy to comprehend why the Lilywhites are willing to sign Robinson. The USA international has been a consistent performer in the Premier League in recent years, catching the eye with his speed, stamina, aggression, work rate, physicality and leadership skills.
Unsurprisingly, Fulham do not want to sell their star left-back and have slapped a price tag of £45m to scare away potential suitors. But that price tag should not deter Tottenham’s hopes of landing Robinson, and if Udogie departs, Levy must definitely raid the Cottagers for their skipper.
