Real Madrid now open to selling Rodrygo Goes
Tottenham Hotspur made significant efforts in the last phase of the recently-closed summer transfer window to bolster their attacking options, and ultimately, their work paid off as they were able to land Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani before the market closed.
Meanwhile, Spurs also missed out on several forward targets that they were being linked with in that time, the most notable of them being the Manchester City winger Savinho. Furthermore, they were also linked with the Real Madrid star Rodrygo Goes, but could not land any of them.
Now, only days after the closure of the last transfer window, another transfer merry-go-round has started with the Lilywhite club and these two mentioned players being the main protagonists.
As per a report from TeamTalk, Real Madrid are now open to selling Rodrygo, as the Brazilian has fallen down in Xabi Alonso’s pecking order, and is no longer as important a player for the Merengues as he used to be. Several teams from the Premier League are interested in him, including Liverpool and Arsenal, but the report claims that Manchester City are already the leading side for his signing.
The Citizens are looking to make an offer for him in the winter market, especially as they believe there would be more competition for his signature next summer, and the Spanish giants are reported to be open to allowing him to leave for around €80 million.

This operation can help Tottenham land Savinho
This move involving City and Rodrygo is also going to benefit Tottenham as the Citizens would look to offset the costs of signing the Brazilian by selling one of their current Brazilian forward, Savinho, who was strongly linked with Spurs in the summer, and reports suggest that the Lilywhites are still trying to complete his signing in the next transfer window.
For now, it remains to be seen how such a complex and inter-related market operation takes place. But what is almost certain is that Savinho would be a very good addition to this Tottenham side, and bringing him would allow Thomas Frank to field a very potent attack with Mohammed Kudus and Savinho playing on the two wings.
