Tottenham express interest in £100m veteran attacker; 2026 summer move eyed

Tottenham Hotspur retain interest in English international Jack Grealish

Tottenham Hotspur have just come through what was a splendid summer transfer window. But the chiefs at N17 haven’t taken a breather; they have continued to identify players who can help the Lilywhites in the winter and next summer window.

One of the players that the Lilywhites had been linked with along the summer window was Jack Grealish. But while Daniel Levy and his chiefs remained sceptical about him, Everton took a chance. And he has been a phenomenon since moving to Merseyside.

There have been glimpses and more of the England international performances very akin to those that he put in at Aston Villa which earned him that £100m move to Man City.

The 30-year-old has been showing that technical elegance which earned him the Premier League’s Player of the Month for August 2025. He already boasts four assists in only 287 minutes of game time in four Premier League outings for his temporary employers. And Tottenham remain interested in bringing that creative ability to Hotspur Way.

Tottenham have again been linked with a move for Jack Grealish.

According to the latest by Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, the North Londoners remain interested in signing Jack Grealish. And given that the club failed to sign someone to take the limelight in the current roster. This is where the North Londoners need to bring in a stopgap marquee player, at least till someone like Xavi Simons comes into his own.

That being said, while the Lilywhites want to bring in Grealish, they won’t have much of a chance if the Toffees go on to trigger the purchase option in the Englishman’s contract, which is worth £50 million and which is already included in the loan agreement with the North Londoners.

Though if David Moyes’ side try to reduce the fee, then there is an opportunity for Tottenham to slide in for his signature when the next summer transfer comes around.

Alongside Tottenham, even Napoli have been interested in the prospect of signing Grealish when next summer comes around.

Will Jack Grealish sign for Tottenham?

Given the progress that the North Londoners have been enjoying under Thomas Frank, Hotspur Way would be an attractive destination for Grealish. But even with the £50m option that Everton holds, a lot would be on the Merseysiders’ decision.

If Grealish becomes available in the next summer transfer window and he were to continue putting in similar performances along the rest of the ongoing 2025/26 campaign, would you be open to bringing him to Hotspur Way? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
