“Good place to be”- Thomas Frank credited for fostering ‘love’ in the Tottenham dressing room; settling in well

Thomas Frank is aiming to build on last season’s UEL success and push on at Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank is already proving his worth at N17 after helping the club enjoy a brilliant start to the new season. The Danish tactician has completely transformed the outlook of this team, reinforcing the belief that he is indeed the right man to take the Lilywhites forward as they look to build on last season’ Europa League success.

Under Frank’s guidance, Spurs sit third on the Premier League table, just two points behind league leaders Arsenal. The North London club have also enjoyed their strongest start to a Champions League campaign in recent years by racking up four points from their first two matches in the competition. The fans will now hope that the ex-Brentford boss continues to exceed expectations as the club looks to compete hard on all four fronts this season.

One of the many positives for Tottenham under Thomas Frank is that the squad never seems to throw in the towel when the going gets tough. The Lilywhites have shown great resilience and mettle to come back from behind and secure a result this season. That just shows the huge strides the North London club has taken under Frank’s guidance.

Tottenham are in a ‘good place’ under Thomas Frank

By the looks of it, Thomas Frank has quickly won over the dressing room at Tottenham this season. The players look ready to go through a brick wall for the Danish tactician, proving that he has managed to get them on board with his vision and objectives. There is a clear sense of togetherness within the squad, which is something that was notably missing towards the end of last season.

Echoing the same sentiment, Alan Pardew has credited Thomas Frank for maintaining a good relationship with his players. Speaking on talkSPORT, Pardew said,

“Where Spurs are at the moment, look it’s very healthy. They have scored 13 goals. It’s looking like they have got a bit going on. The manager is settled in nicely as well. You can see him interacting with the players. There’s a love forming there, as much as a love can be between a player and a manager because you’ve got to leave them out and drop them. I think it’s a good place Spurs are at.”

Alan Pardew believes Thomas Frank has made an instant impact at Tottenham, both in terms of results and the football being played. He also highlighted the instant rapport between Frank and his players, crediting the Danich tactician’s strong man-management and communication skills as key factors behind Spurs’ early success.

However, Frank should now focus on keeping true to his promise of building on the foundations set by Ange Postecoglou this season. The ex-Brentford boss will look to reassess his team’s performances during the ongoing international break as the Lilywhites aim to end the current season on a high.
