Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are in negotiations for Hakim Ziyech
The Moroccan international has been linked with a move away from the Blues this summer. Top clubs around Europe like AC Milan and Ajax have been associated with the 29-year-old’s signature.
However, it seems a move from West to North London is on the cards as Chelsea see Tottenham as a ‘trusted’ option.
Ziyech moved to England in 2020 from Amsterdam. At Ajax, the 29-year-old had been one of the best playmakers. However, the Moroccan has found it hard to adjust to life in the Premier League.
Over the years, Ziyech has found it hard to get a run of games at Chelsea. Under Thomas Tuchel, the 29-year-old has found himself mostly on the bench. The Moroccan has failed to replicate the form he showed in Holland.
Tottenham possesses an abundance of talent up front. Harry Kane has been our talisman for some years now. The England international became the player with the highest number of goals for a single team in the Premier League after striking twice against Nottingham Forest.
Son Heung-min is another world-class talent Antonio Conte can count on. While the South Korean has gotten off to a slow start in the 2022/23 campaign, he shared the PL Golden Boot last season with Mohamed Salah.
Dejan Kulusevski signed for the North London side in January and has made an immediate impact on the team. We can also count on summer signing Richarlison and his Brazilian compatriot Lucas Moura to step up when needed.

Ziyech is a quality option to have for any side. However, regular first-team minutes at Tottenham aren’t guaranteed. Supporters are happy with the attackers in the squad at the moment.
