PSG star Randal Kolo Muani is facing an uncertain future amid Tottenham links

Tottenham have a lot of problems to address in the summer following a disastrous Premier League campaign. The Lilywhites finished the season just a place above the relegation zone, registering 22 losses along the way. The shocking domestic campaign saw Daniel Levy relieve Ange Postecoglou from his duties just two weeks after the season ended.

The North London club have now replaced Big Ange with Thomas Frank as they look to kickstart a new era at N17. However, Spurs have endured a slow start to their summer as they were busy sorting out the managerial situation at Hotspur Way. Now that the new manager is in place, Daniel Levy must shift his focus on signing new players as the club looks to build on the Europa League success.

The Lilywhites struggled throughout the season in the final third of the pitch. Last summer’s statement signing Dominic Solanke also admitted that he found life tough at N17 during the initial months following his switch from Bournemouth. But it is fair to say that the England international found his mojo back during the latter stages of the campaign. The same cannot be said about Richarlison though, as the Brazilian fell down the pecking order under big Ange last season.

Tottenham not giving up their chase for PSG loanee Randal Kolo Muani

There is no surprise that Tottenham are looking to add more quality to their attack by bringing in a new striker to compete with Dominic Solanke. With Richarlison facing an uncertain future at the club, Daniel Levy is looking to find a new striker that could fill the void left behind by the Brazil international next season.

The Lilywhites have been in the market for a new striker since some time now. It was reported earlier this week that Spurs were interested in signing PSG loanee Randal Kolo Muani in the summer for next season. However, the aforementioned report had also suggested that Juventus on the verge of completing a deal for the Frenchman just in time for the FIFA Club World Cup.

Now, Tottenham have a received a massive boost n their hopes of landing the 26-year-old. As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Le10Sport), talks over a potential sale between Juventus and PSG have stalled as the clubs cannot agree over a reasonable purchase option. The report also adds that the Frenchman is keen to continue in Turin, and the Old Lady is using this as leverage to convince the Ligue 1 giants to lower their asking price.

Spurs fans will hope that the deal breaks down between Juventus and PSG, as signing Randal Kolo Muani will elevate the attack significantly. The France international will fit in well at N17 under Thomas Frank as well. The Tottenham manager prefers to play two strikers up top, and Solanke and Kolo Muani would complement each other’s game without any fuss.

Thomas Frank wants his striker to be quick during transition, and be effective in the box during the buildup. Kolo Muani excels in that as he tends to cover up spaces quickly by running in channels. The 26-year-old also likes to get involved in the buildup play, and can operate from the left flank as well during games. Will the France international end up at N17? Only time will tell.
