Tottenham are in the driver’s seat as they look to land PSG star Randal Kolo Muani in the summer

There is an urgent need to bring in a new striker at N17 as Tottenham look to build on the Europa League success next season. A full-strength squad will be needed for next season as the Lilywhites are aiming to compete hard on all four fronts under Thomas Frank. And for that, the North London club must bring in a new attacker who could provide cover for Dominic Solanke as the season progresses.

Solanke endured a ‘stop-start’ first campaign at the club as he tried to find his way under Ange Postecoglou. The England international admitted that he found the initial months tough as he looked to replicate the form he showed during his time at Bournemouth. However, it is fair to say that the 27-year-old did find his feet in the end as he played a crucial part in helping the Lilywhites win the Europa League.

The fans will now hope that the ex-Bournemouth star is kept on his toes next season as Thomas Frank aims to turn the fortunes of the club around. It will be important for the Danish tactician to have a ‘fit and firing’ attack as the ex-Brentford boss relies heavily on his strikers during the build-up play.

Tottenham receive a boost in their efforts to sign PSG star Randal Kolo Muani

There is no surprise that Tottenham are looking to add a new striker to their ranks for next season. With Richarlison heading for the exit doors in the summer, Daniel Levy is aiming to bring in an attacker who could provide cover to Dominic Solanke as the season progresses.

It was reported earlier that Spurs were interested in signing PSG star Randal Kolo Muani in the summer. The Lilywhites have long been admirers of the France international, and believe that he would be a perfect fit at N17 under Thomas Frank. Not only that, but Daniel Levy also believes that the 26-year-old is open to move to pastures new in the summer as he has no future under Luis Enrique.

The prolific striker is on loan at Juventus as of now, and the Turin-based club is also trying hard to retain Kolo Muani for next season. As per Gianluca Di Marzio, the Serie A giants want to sign the Frenchman on loan with an option to buy next summer. But PSG are not open to this solution and want a permanent sale instead. This puts Tottenham into the picture as the Lilywhites are willing to buy the striker if the asking price is suited to their demands.

Signing Kolo Muani would instantly elevate the quality of the attack next season. The France international can either play as a number nine, or as a left-winger. His versatility will prove to be a crucial factor as the 26-year-old could link-up with Dominic Solanke in the attack and form a strong partnership with the England international. However, Daniel levy must act quick if he wants to land the PSG star in the summer.
