Tottenham would consider selling Richarlison for around £30 million amid Flamengo interest
Richarlison has enjoyed a new lease of life at Tottenham Hotspur under new boss Thomas Frank.
Thomas Frank has done an amazing job in boosting the forward’s self-confidence, after he was pretty much written off at the end of last season. Spurs had transfer-listed the Brazilian in the summer following three frustrating seasons, with the 28-year-old linked with a return back to his country.
Richarlison had a long list of suitors during the past summer transfer window, which included clubs from Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Brazil. Palmeiras, most notably, were planning a big-money swoop for the Tottenham forward. However, the Lilywhites’ £55m price tag apparently scared Palmeiras off and a move never materialised.

Flamengo eyeing a move for Richarlison
The Brazilian international has performed well since the start of the 2025/26 campaign. With Dominic Solanke struggling with an ankle problem, he has been Frank’s first-choice No.9. Richarlison has bagged three goals and an assist in five Premier League games, helping the north London club to third in the table.
However, that has not stopped rumours from surrounding his future. According to a report from Spanish news outlet Fichajes, Flamengo are eyeing a move for Richarlison in 2026. They view him as a player capable of reviving their attack. Preliminary talks have been held, but without decisive progress so far.
Tottenham would be willing to listen to offers for their striker but not at any price. With his contract set to expire in 2027 (Transfermarkt), they do not want to lose him on a free transfer. Spurs would demand around £30 million to let the South American poacher leave, the report adds.

Tottenham must look to move on Richarlison despite his renaissance in form
The Richarlison transfer has not worked out well for the north London club. He has struggled royally for fitness and form across three seasons, limiting his involvement and impact on the pitch in the process. This season has been different thus far, though. The forward is playing with real belief and confidence and fulfilling the demands asked by Frank.
As a result, Richarlison was called up to the Brazil squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Chile and Bolivia earlier this month. The centre-forward performing consistently throughout the season and getting picked by Carlo Ancelotti for the World Cup squad would be extremely important in enhancing his stock ahead of the 2026 summer transfer window.
The ex-Everton man staying fit and delivering the goods would only help the Hotspur Way chiefs in selling him next year. It remains to be seen whether Richarlison is ready to return to his homeland and close his chapter in Europe. As for Flamengo, signing a player of Richarlison’s calibre and experience would go a long way in demonstrating their ambition.
