Tottenham enter the race for former Roma star who is impressing in the Premier League

Tottenham are among several Premier League clubs interested in signing Bournemouth playmaker Justin Kluivert
Tottenham Hotspur are looking to accelerate their transfer plans after the appointment of new head coach, Thomas Frank.
With Thomas Frank replacing Ange Postecoglou, Spurs’ focus has entirely shifted towards strengthening the squad. They have showed an intent in the market by tabling a £70m bid to sign Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo on Friday. While Mbeumo’s preference is to move to Old Trafford this summer, the North Londoners have taken their first step to hijack Manchester United’s move for the versatile forward.
The idea to make a sizeable bid for Mbeumo demonstrates Spurs’ desire to sign a forward this summer. Whether Brentford accepts the bid and the Cameroonian international has a change of heart remains to be seen, but Tottenham are simultaneously monitoring other attackers from the Premier League as well.

According to an exclusive report from CaughtOffside, Tottenham have scouted Bournemouth playmaker Justin Kluivert and have entered the conversation to sign him, along with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United. Spurs are expected to make a move for him depending on the outgoings in their squad.
Justin Kluivert enjoyed an impressive 2024/25 season, netting 12 goals and supplying six assists in 34 Premier League. He became the creative glue of the Cherries’ side, forming a lethal understanding with the likes of Antoine Semenyo, Dango Ouattara and Evanilson up front. The Dutchman scored a variety of goals to catch the attention of many big Premier League clubs, finally exploding in a Bournemouth shirt.
Tottenham could do with a player of Kluivert’s qualities and experience. The 26-year-old can play in different attacking positions, and such versatility will see him add a lot of value to Frank’s squad. Spurs have shown a willingness to invest in Premier League proven players, and it is no surprise that they are keen on the Netherlands international.

The aforementioned report adds Bournemouth are in no rush to sell Kluivert this summer having already sanctioned the sale of Dean Huijsen and set to witness the departure of Milos Kerkez. Yet, they understand the probability to make a huge profit on the player and have slapped a price tag of €50–55 million.
While several Premier League outfits remain interested in the ex-Ajax creative midfielder, it is Bayer Leverkusen who are the only club to have initiated contact with Bournemouth for him. This is because the Bundesliga side, under new boss Erik ten Hag, want to replace their outgoing star Florian Wirtz in the squad.
